Cody Stamann and five others have been removed from the UFC roster, MMA Fighting has confirmed following a report from the automated Roster Tracker on Twitter.

A veteran of 15 octagon appearances, Stamann competed in the promotion between 2017 and 2024, scoring key victories over the likes of Eddie Wineland, Brian Kelleher and Bryan Caraway, but was let go after losing his past three in a row.

Like Stamann, featherweights Joshua Culibao and Jonathan Pearce left the organization on three-fight losing skids. Culibao ended his UFC run with a company record of 3-4-1 after a trio of decision losses, while Pearce tapped to Pat Sabatini in his final octagon appearance.

Taylor Lapilus’ case is unique as he was let go after two consecutive wins, defeating Stamann and Vince Morales via decision in 2024. He completed his UFC contract with a record of 3-1. The same happened in 2016, when he won three of four under the UFC banner and was still released off a win.

Mashrabjon Ruziboev never actually entered the cage, withdrawing from his UFC debut fight with Jared Gordon earlier this month and being released from his duties.

Matthew Semelsberger fought 11 times in the octagon and had plenty of opportunities in 2023 and 2024, losing his final four UFC bouts to Jeremiah Wells, Uros Medic, Preston Parsons and Charles Radtke.
